After last night’s wild win for the Rays, as they tied the series 2-2 with Game 5 just beginning, it didn’t take long for the Dodgers to get in front in this game as Mookie Betts leads off the game with a double, Corey Seager singles him in, and then after a stolen base by Seager, Cody Bellinger brings in Corey with an infield hit as the dodgers take a 2-0 early lead here in this deciding Game 5 of the World Series.
We saw Rays’ starting pitcher in Tyler Glasnow get in some early trouble in the first inning, which is not a good sign for the Rays. Dodgers are going with the best pitcher they’ve had on the roster for 12 years, which is the three time CY Young Award Winner in Clayton Kershaw who is looking for his first World Series ring in his third appearance in the Fall Classic.

It did not take long for the Dodgers to hit another home run in this game because Joc Pederson wanted to join the party early in the second inning to give the Dodgers a 3-0 lead.
Tampa Bay Rays; bats wake up in the bottom of the third as they get two runs on the board coming off a triple by Diaz and the Arozarena with an RBI single as they cut the lead to 3-2.
The Rays got more action out of their line up during the fourth inning, but not until Manuel Margot attempted to steal home, while Kershaw was in his wind up then Margot took off and Dodgers’ catcher Austin Barnes was called for the ball and Kershaw with good reaction got the throw to home and tagged Margot out as he tried too hard to be a hero.

The momentum from the out at home seem to carry along when Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy hits a solo home run which was a monster to right fielder. The big hit gave the Dodgers a good push in this game which only helps them get closer to win this World Series.
Clayton Kershaw just broke Justin Verlander’s record with getting his 206th postseason strikeout as he now ranks #1 on the all time list. Dave Roberts decided to pull Kershaw after getting two out on two pitches in the sixth, which I have no idea why he even made the move.
With his 206th strikeout, @ClaytonKersh22 now has the most strikeouts in #postseason history. pic.twitter.com/2P9VHGukAb

Dodgers bring in Dustin May in relief of Kershaw and he is looking sharp on the mound with the movement of his two seam fastball and cutter which hitters seem to not be able to hit it while he was out on the mound pitching. Another decision on behalf of Dave Roberts to pull Dustin May who was pitching great only allowing one hit thus far, Victor Gonzalez is brought in on relief.
After Gonzalez got out of the inning, Roberts brings in Treinen in the bottom of the ninth to close the game and win the Game for the Dodgers 4-2 here in Game 5 of the World Series. This was a big Game for the Dodgers to fight back after yesterdays embarrassing loss they had in walk off fashion. Give major credit to Clayton Kershaw as he was great in his 5 2/3 of innings pitched allowing only two runs and two walks and striking out six in the game.
Yessir!!!! 1 more. Job Not Done! FINISH YOUR BREAKFAST!! @Dodgers

What to expect in Game 6 of the World Series coming up on Tuesday night, Can the Rays bats heat up and force a Game 7? They have the hitters but the problem is the Dodgers pitching. The Dodgers have not announced who will be pitching on Tuesday but what we do know is the Rays Blake Snell will be starting in Game 6 against the Dodgers.
As the Dodgers are one win away from winning their first World Series Championship since 1988 on Tuesday night with Game 6 coming to you at 8ET/5PT on FOX.
