2020 NBA Finals: Lakers Win Game 4 as LeBron James is 1 win away from his 4th NBA Championship

Game 4 of the 2020 NBA Finals began with a scoring burst from Lakers G Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as he puts up 10 early points and no fouls from Lakers F Anthony Davis.

The Lakers turned the ball over seven times in the first quarter which is not a good sign but were still able to maintain some control in this ball game as they led 27-22. Heat F Bam Adebayo made his return to the line up after getting injured in Game 1 as he was playing well until he picked up his 2nd personal foul late in the first quarter.

Heat F Jimmy Butler who was magnificent in Game 3 of the NBA Finals with his 40 point triple double as he has 11 points through the first half shooting 5-6 from the field and trying to even the series here in the Finals. Bam Adebayo has been giving the Heat some great energy in the 2nd quarter as hes trying to stay off foul trouble in the first half.

LeBron James has been playing good but has also been turning the ball over a few times here in the first quarter. The Lakers need LeBron James to be aggressive for the rest of the series in order to win his 4th NBA Championship and possibly add another Finals MVP to his resume as Anthony Davis might give him a run for his money this year.

The Lakers enter the 3rd quarter leading 49-47 which is a very low scoring half for them here in the playoffs.    LeBron James put his foot on the pedal as he attacked the Miami Heat by hitting a couple of threes and continue to get to the basket. Interesting coaching move by Lakers Coach Frank Vogel as he did not rest LeBron in his usual slot which is around the 6 minute mark but instead he waited until the Heat took Jimmy Butler out with a minute left in the 3rd quarter.

The moment the Heat put Jimmy Butler back in the game to begin the 4th quarter, LeBron checks in as well, very interesting to see this. LeBron is doing anything possible to not loose this game as he hits a turn around jumper on Jimmy Butler to give the Lakers a six point lead in the 4th. Anthony Davis has picked up his play here in this game compare to the type of game he had in Game 3 of the NBA Finals with 19 points in the middle of the 4th.

Watching this crucial Game 4 of the NBA Finals which is very good for all the NBA Fans watching all over the world who are enjoying a very good product right now during this Pandemic that we are experiencing, special thanks to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hit a clutch three point shot and layup late in the 4th quarter by a great pass from LeBron James as he finishes with 28 points 12 rebounds and 8 assists. The Lakers supporting cast was huge starting with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s 15 points, Danny Green 10 points, Alex Caruso 7 points and Rajon Rondo with 5 assists and 7 rebounds to complete a Game 4 win for the Lakers.

The job is not done as LeBron James said in the exit interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols post game as the Lakers now look to win their 17th NBA Championship Friday night 9ET/6PT on ABC.
