Manager Dave Roberts made some interesting changes to the starting lineup in the first 3 games. Having Max Muncy hitting lead off on Thursday and Saturday and Mookie Betts hitting leading off on Friday and hitting 2nd Thursday and Saturday.

Big crucial base running mistakes in the 4th inning by the dodgers cost them a big run inning and guess what? They also ended the 5th inning with a double play with base running mistake by the Dodgers. The Dodgers have been making similar mistakes for the past few seasons under manager Dave Roberts. You never wanna make the first out running to 3rd base but Chris Taylor said no, not me and got out at 3rd.
Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood did not have the start he imagined having starting this year. He’s been reliable the past seasons when it matters the most. Today, his stuff was just off from the beginning.
In the bottom of the 8th inning the dodgers began to make some noise with Turner and a clutch hit by Corey Seager. Taylor gets on then another hit by Joc Pederson gets the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and Kike Hernandez grounds out to end the inning. Dodgers did not capitalize when needed too.
Will Smith leads off the 9th inning with a home run and cut the lead down to 1 then Giants get all 3 outs and give the Dodgers they’re first loss of the season.
