Shakirah Edwards AKA Shakirah2x is a Red Carpet Host, Entertainment Journalist, Public Speaker, Producer and Content Creator.
She was born in Philadelphia and raised in Minnesota where she attended St Cloud State University and got a degree in Mass Communications/TV Journalism. Since moving cross country to pursue her dreams in 2019, the new Angeleno is making waves in Hollywood; doing coverage for events like the HAPAwards, Billboard Music Awards after party, movie premieres and much more. She specializes in quick, straight to the point interviews while managing to make you laugh and feel comfortable along the way. Although the carpet is her happy place, you can catch the host live in the streets of LA, covering sporting events, grand openings, press junkets, and starring in very own show ‘Shak w the Facts’.
