The Chargers are coming off a big win last week in Cincinnati and now turn the page against the New York Giants.
As we expected, the Raiders lost big against the Chiefs in Kansas City on Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs now have 9 wins and traveling to Los Angeles to face the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
As the Giants received the ball, they didn’t do much with it neither did the Chargers in the first drive. It took till the second drive for the Chargers to get on the board with a 1 yard run by Chargers RB Austin Ekeler for the touchdown as they took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
The Giants play slow to start the game but got on the board by scoring a nice touchdown which got them 7 points early on.
Justin Herbert who is arguably the best quarterback in the league just showed the world what he is capable of doing in the league. He can throw and run the ball like any other player in the NFL.
#Chargers QB Justin Herbert has reached 8,000 passing yards in 28 career games, the second-fastest in NFL #TheFredoReport #Chargers #BoltUp

Mike Williams was activated on Saturday after he was announced as probable in this game and gave the Chargers a big leap in this game with no Keenan Allen.
Chargers head coach Brandon Staley played the Giants the best way he can by attacking first and allowing the defense to control the game which is exactly what they did. When I saw Justin Herbert throw the ball to Jalen Guyton, I was like no way he’s making that catch but he did. That catch has to be the most impressive catch I’ve seen this season.
Maybe the best pass I have ever seen! Herbert to Guyton! #omg #TheFredoReport #Chargers

This game was way out of reach by the third quarter with the score of 30-7 in favor of the Chargers. During the fourth quarter as the score was out of reach, the Giants kept battling to maintain themselves in this game as they score 14 points in the 4th quarter.
Chargers S Derwin James and WR Keenan Allen did not play in this game but both are probable for Thursday’s match up as they host the Chiefs.
This upcoming Thursday is going to be the hardest game of the season by far because the division is on the line on prime time. What can we expect from this game?
The matchup from Justin Herbert vs Patrick Mahomes is gonna be EPIC!
After Sunday’s win over the Giants, the Chargers are now 8-5 and the Chiefs are 9-4 with the Chargers having the win in Kansas City on week 3. Justin Herbert leads the league in QBR and is on a roll here in December.
Chargers are 2-0 on prime time this season after defeating the Raiders on Monday Night Football back in October and as well with a big win over the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Now with Thursday Night Football this week, the Chargers look to remain unbeaten under the lights and in front of all the eye balls in the world watching.
What do I think about this matchup coming up?
I certainly believe the Chargers will come up with the win this Thursday as they have been playing good football in the last two weeks. Mahomes had a good game on Sunday but c’mon it’s the Raiders they beat. This game will determine who wins this division which is a major leading into the playoffs.
I’ll be there live at SoFi Stadium for Thursday Night Football for the game of the year. Defense wins game which in this case the Chargers have an advantage.
