After the Lakers dipped they’re Nuggets in BBQ sauce on Friday night, I knew this was going to be a fast series in the Western Conference Finals.
During the first quarter the Lakers go on a 18-3 run that gave them an early lead in the game going up by 10 points. The Nuggets clapped back going on a run of they’re own to climb back in the game but not much time when by that Lakers F LeBron James makes a mark in this game as he has been on another level with 20 points on 8-10 shooting from the field with 6:56 still remaining in the 2nd quarter.

LeBron is 3-3 from three as we can all see the fire behind him after only receiving 16 first place votes for MVP and we all heard how he felt about it post game on Friday. Nuggets G Jamal Murray has been quite so far in this game through the first half with only 4 field goal attempts as they trail by 11 points in Game 2 of the WCF.
Lakers G Alex Caruso in his 16 minutes in the first half was the 2nd leading scorer for the Lakers with 9 points 2 rebounds and 2 assists. They have continued playing great defense as they hold the Nuggets to 50 points in the first half as the Lakers lead 60-50 with LeBron James leading all players in this game with 20 points.
Dominant start to the 3rd Q from @AntDavis23 continues, as he hits a pull-up J, then swats Murray at the rim, then attracts multiple defenders on a drive before feeding Green for a wide-open 3. LAL up 70-54, their biggest lead.

As the 3rd quarter began here in Game 2 Nuggets F Paul Millsap made his first field goal so far as he’s been struggling like every other Nuggets player. Lakers F Anthony Davis starting to step us in this quarter as he has racked up 21 points and 8 rebounds but the Nuggets have found life here in Game 2 as Jokic has been aggressive here in the 3rd quarter with 18 points 9 assists and 4 rebounds. Jamal Murray also has picked up his play here in Game 2 with 19 points.
LAL haven’t really been in a close game all postseason. Been mostly blowouts or +10 wins, and the 2 losses were by 7 and 15. This one is shaping up to be tight.

The Nuggets only trail by 4 in the beginning of the 4th quarter as the Lakers start to turn the ball over and are giving them life in this game. Lakers are playing very sloppy here in the 4th as they have allowed the Nuggets to tie the game up at 82 a piece.
LeBron has been more aggressive in this game and looking to score with only 2 assists thus far here in the 4th quarter as the Lakers go on a 6-0 run and now lead 92-87 with 6:25 left in the game. Davis has been on the Lakers bench for the 4th quarter and has now entered the game in the middle of the 4th as he now has 21 points. Jamal Murray has 25 points with 5 minutes remaining in the game and Lakers up by 6.

The Game is coming down the wire with Anthony Davis hitting a fade away three from right in the front of the Nuggets bench as he gives the Lakers a 8 point lead late in the 4th quarter. Davis scored a game high 37 points in Game 1 and now here in Game 2 has tied LeBron for a game high 26 points. Nuggets C Nikola Jokic comes out the time out with 7 straight points to cut the lead 100-99 with 1:04 remaining in the game and the Lakers call for time and Jokic comes with another 4 points and Anthony Davis with a bucket of his own as the Lakers trail 103-102 with 20.8 seconds left.
The Lakers had the last possession of the game as there was only 2 seconds left and Rondo was in bounding the ball and found Anthony Davis in the corner for a game winning 3 point shot at the buzzer in Nikola Jokic’s face to give the Lakers a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals. It’s just unbelievable what Anthony Davis could do on both sides of the floor. Davis finishes with 31 points 9 rebounds in 39 minutes in Game 2.
