The Los Angeles Lakers begin the second half of the season at the Staples Center without any fans as they host the Indiana Pacers Friday night.

A few days ago, the Lakers announced the resigning of C Damian Jones to another 10 day contract as he started in tonight’s game as he kinda struggled throughout the game. Jones was brought in to rebound the ball and protect the rim which is something he wasn’t doing tonight. Jones when into the fourth quarter with only one rebound and zero blocks.

The Lakers seemed to also not be clicking out on the court as a team but one good reason why that is, it’s the first game in a week after going into the All Star break.

Lakers F Anthony Davis who was injured a few weeks ago, it was announced earlier that he still scheduled to miss at least another 2 weeks.

Pacers G Malcolm Brogdon started off the game hot as he scored 18 points in the first quarter which was a main reason why the Lakers were struggling in the first half.

Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder were 5-19 from the field combined through three quarters.

The Lakers started playing a lot better in the fourth quarter which is when it matters the most. Kuzma when on a 8-0 run in the fourth to get the Lakers ahead by 4 and get the lead for the time since the first half.

LeBron James played a total of 34 mins as he scored 18 points 10 assists and 3 rebounds. Kyle Kuzma finished the game with 24 points and 13 rebounds in 30 mins of play.

Lakers F Montrezl Harrell played a great game back after the All Star break with 17 points and 6 rebounds in 32 mins. Harrell looked to be in shape physically and mentally as he gave a big spark throughout the game which helped the Lakers steal this game.

The Lakers now win their 25th game this season as they now look towards Monday night as they visit the Golden State Warriors.
