We are days away from the 2020 NBA Draft on Wednesday evening and the Lakers decided to trade Danny Green and their first round draft pick (28th overall) to the Thunder for Dennis Schroder according to Shams Charania.
Lakers and Thunder have agreement in principle on deal to send Dennis Schroder to Los Angeles, and No. 28 pick in Wednesday's Draft to OKC, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

This is very interesting for the Lakers to take on another strong guard as the Lakers are aware they might be loosing out on Rajon Rondo as he is seeking a bag full of money that he can’t receive from LA.
The Lakers were also pursuing Bucks G Eric Bledsoe according to reports which it seems like is very unlikely to happen now that they traded for another guard.
Dennis Schroder has one year left on his current contract worth $15.5 mil and the Lakers plan is to sign him to a new contract as he is one of the best two way guards in the league. He was a runner up on the Sixth Man Of the Year Award this past season loosing out to Clippers F Montrezl Harrell.
After winning the 2020 NBA Championship, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to repeat with some big moves starting to shape up the roster before the season begins on December 22nd.
