LaMelo Ball Dominated the Magic Friday night

Friday night in Charlotte with the Orlando Magic visiting on a back to back, the Hornets knew they had to win this game and that’s exactly what they delivered. Big win for the Hornets to stay in the playoff hunt.

It just seemed from the very beginning of the game with the energy Charlotte had, they were gonna do everything they can to win this game.

LaMelo Ball came out strong in the first half as it was the complete opposite last night against the Bulls. Hornets F P.J Washington has been playing terrific over the last few games especially on the offensive end. The Hornets other Forward Miles Bridges is still out due to the health protocols they have with COVID-19 in season.

Over the past few games I’ve noticed LaMelo favoriting his right wrist which is the same one he had surgery just over a month ago. While he’s on the bench, he has his wrist wrapped up with a big towel over it and he clearly in pain as you can see it in his face but he’s not from here, that’s why he can still perform under the bright lights and put up a show. Again, he’s not from here, get it? Go to LaMeloROY.com

In the second half, the Hornets continued to keep the foot on the pedal as they are fighting in this game with all cost. Hornets G Terry Rozier has also been playing great over his past few games as he continues to attack on both sides of the court as he finished the game with 28 points.

The fourth quarter was good for the Hornets tonight as LaMelo Ball took advantage of it by getting his teammates involved and attacking the rim which he did all night long against the Magic. Last night, LaMelo got in early foul trouble which was a major reason why he really never found his rhythm compared to tonight as he has no fouls through the middle of the fourth quarter. He got one foul in the game which came late in the fourth quarter.

LaMelo Ball did everything he had to in order to win tonight which is in his DNA. Ball had 27 points 6 rebounds and 6 assists in tonight’s win over the Magic 122-112 with the next game coming up on Mother’s Day this Sunday as LaMelo’s older brother, Lonzo Ball and the Pelicans come to Charlotte for Ball In The Family
