The Hornets are coming off a win against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night which was good for a young team to get on the win column as they now land in Dallas to face Luka Doncic.

This Game was one for the books as the young phenom rookie guard LaMelo Ball had a career night as he scored a team high of 22 points 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the Hornets to the second win of the season.

Ball shot 4-5 from three which he look very comfortable shooting the ball all night from the floor as he was coming off screens and moving without the ball. Hornets Coach James Borrego said after the last game that LaMelo’s minutes will be going higher as the season goes by. He is currently averaging 16 minutes in his first three games as he played 29 minutes tonight.

Another amazing player who has been playing great is Hornets F Miles Bridges who added his own 20 points and 16 rebounds in 30 minutes of play. I said on last weeks show on “The Fredo Show” on In The Front Row which you can catch Sunday’s 11ET/8PT on YouTube, Miles Bridges will have a blowout season with the Hornets as he’s entering his 3rd season out of Michigan State.

Seeing the improvement on LaMelo since his first preseason game to tonight’s game has been impressive to see. I’ve seen every minute of Ball’s NBA career thus far and he is showing lots of flashes on being a star in this league.

The Hornets are back in action on New Years Day Friday night as they host the Memphis Grizzlies and look to win three games in a row.
