LaMelo Ball signing with NIKE?

January 1, 2020

As we turn the page to year 2020, LaMelo Ball is turning heads by receiving an offer worth $100 million dollars including a private jet from a shoe company.

Ball’s Manager confirmed the offer that was made to LaMelo and is 100% accurate. Now, everyone is wondering which shoe company made this major offer. Let’s rewind and take a look at some previous shoe deals.

One of the most recent contracts was made by Jordan brand to Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson worth $75 million dollars. Kings F Marvin Bagley III signed with PUMA for $12 million, Sixers F Ben Simmons signed with NIKE for $15 million. We also had other rookies like Vince Carter who signed with PUMA for $50 million, Allen Iverson signed with Reebok for $60 million and the largest rookie contract signed was the one and only LeBron James, who signed a $90 million dollar contract in 2003 with NIKE.

The largest offer has been made to the #1 pick in this upcoming NBA Draft. The ball is in LaMelo’s court, which we all know what happens when the ball is in his hands. It was not confirmed which shoe company made the offer.

According to sources, they believe it’s between NIKE and Jordan Brand. NIKE missed out on 2 players not long ago (Zion and Luka) both to Jordan Brand. NIKE is willing to go all the way to make sure Ball signs with them sources say. One thing fans have noticed, Ball has been seen wearing lots of NIKE gear over the past months.

There’s one more company we should keep in mind, Big Baller Brand. Lavar Ball has been working hard over the past months to rebuild the brand. As seen on “Ball In The Family” Lonzo Ball gave Lavar a deadline before he makes a decision on which shoe company he will sign with. We should not count out on Lavar Ball and Big Baller Brand.

We are not sure when LaMelo Ball will make a decision on any offers but what we do know is, he will be the #1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
