The Reigning Six Man Of The Year F Montrezl Harrell is leaving the Los Angeles Clippers and is signing with the defending champions the Los Angeles Lakers after agreeing to a two year $19 mil deal agent Rich Paul tells Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

This was a shocking move by the former Clipper as he goes down the hallway to the other locker room and joins LeBron and Anthony Davis. Montrezl Harrell has been with the Clippers for the past three years which is where he has had the most success playing under Doc Rivers. LeBron and Harrell share the same agent, Rich Paul from Klutch Sports which the agency is connected to LeBron James.

Lakers GM Rob Pelinka used the full mid level exception to sign Harrell on Friday night when free agency began but Harrell wasn’t the only signing of the night. Free agent G Wes Matthews agreed to a one year deal with the Lakers after playing for the Milwaukee Bucks last season.

“Can we say Executive Of The Year?” I agree with Magic Johnson.

For those who know me or have been following me, know that I’ve been the biggest Rob Pelinka fan and supporter since his arrival in Los Angeles. He brought this organization back to the top after some of the worst years this organization has ever seen in the last 60 years. As a former agent and being hired by Magic Johnson to be the General Manager of the Lakers was a major risk at the time but we’ve seen the success Warriors GM Bob Myers has had winning championships. Now, Rob is focused on winning every year and taking it as a challenged as he once said Kobe Bryant told him that. Pelinka was Bryant’s agent through his playing years with the Lakers.
