The Nuggets come out with desperation in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals after getting dipped in AD Sauce in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Nikola Jokic had a very impressive stretch in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter in Game 2 as he when on a 11-0 run by himself and is continuing his great play here in Game 3 as he scores 11 points 4 rebounds in the first quarter. LeBron James also playing well in this game so far with 8 points on 4-6 from the field. The Nuggets went on a 17-2 run in the middle of the 2nd quarter to take a 44-29 lead.

As Anthony Davis goes to the bench, the Nuggets go on a run of their own as they are taking over the game and now making Lakers Coach Frank Vogel make a tough decision to make some line up adjustments early in the game. The Lakers have 8 turnovers in the middle of the 2nd quarter which was one of the problems they had in game 2 as the Nuggets bench is outscoring the Lakers bench 21-7. Both teams continue to battle back and forth in the 2nd quarter.
Lakers came out on a 5-0 run to start the 3rd quarter with KCP scoring all 5 then a few plays later, Nuggets G Jamal Murray took his elbow into LeBron’s face while trying to go through a screen and Murray picked up a flagrant foul. Nuggets picked up their play here in the 3rd quarter as they force the Lakers into a timeout with a 12 point lead.
One key player for the Nuggets in Game 3 has been Jerami Grant as he currently has 19 points to lead the Nuggets in scoring of the bench. Nikola Jokic has 22 points here in the 3rd quarter as he has been playing good so far in Game 3 making some tough shots throughout the game. Jamal Murray is doing what he normally does which is score and get his teammates involved with 18 points of his own.

The Lakers enter the 4th quarter down 18 points with the Lakers leading scorer being Anthony Davis with 20 points, followed up by LeBron’s 17 points 9 assists and 7 rebounds. The biggest difference so far has been the shot making and play making of the Denver Nuggets as they are up by 20 points with 10:36 left in the game. Lakers go on a 10-2 run right after as they cut the lead down by 12 points with 8:43 remaining and force the Nuggets to call a timeout. Lakers come out the timeout and score another 4 points to cut the lead down by 8 and force Nuggets Coach to come onto the court and call another timeout as you can see the frustration on his face. LeBron is a rebound shy of a triple double as he has 24 points 10 assists and 9 rebounds. Rajon Rondo has been playing magnificent in this quarter with a few steals and assists as the Lakers cut the lead down to 3 points with 6:07 left in this ball game.
You have to give Lakers Coach Frank Vogel major credit for the adjustments here in the 4th quarter as they were down as much as 20 points. The Nuggets couldn’t buy a bucket in this quarter which reminded me of the play of the Clippers in Game 7 last Tuesday. LeBron picked up his 10th rebound as he now collects his 26th playoff triple double in NBA his career.
Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee combined for 4 total rebounds in Game 3.

Nuggets up 102-98 with 3:53 left in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals as the Lakers found a way to get back in this game as they were down 20 points with 10 minutes left in the 4th.
One player I want to highlight for the Lakers is Kyle Kuzma and his play so far in the playoffs and especially in this game. Not sure why Frank Vogel as kept Kuzma in this game as he is Mr. Inconsistent. I remember LeBron James talking about Kuzma after he hit the game winning three against Denver during the NBA Restart in the bubble and he clearly said that Kuzma got play great as the 3rd scorer in order to win a championship and he has not really followed that role here in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.
Denver’s star guard Jamal Murray’s back-to-back 3’s sealed the victory for the Nuggets and he finished with 28 points.

Jamal Murray hit 2 threes late in the 4th quarter which allowed them to take control of the game and get a win here in Game 3 as they still trail 2-1 in the Western Conference Finals as the Lakers fall 114-106. Game 4 is set for Thursday 9ET/6PT on TNT.
I’m GLAD the Lakers lost this game tonight…disrespecting the Nuggets in the First Half by not playing hard. Playing all Cute and Sh*t!! Carry on…
