Damian Lillard dislocated his index finger on his left hand late in Game 2, but it didn’t seem like anything happened to him after starting today’s game by scoring the ball. Lakers also bounced back pretty good maintaining composure through the first quarter as Lillard got 14 points and shot 3-5 from three after the first quarter.
Throughout the second quarter the Lakers have shot 20 free throws and only made 10, yet they are only down 5 points, for which they are very lucky. LeBron James has been coming playing like the LeBron we expect in the playoffs with 16 points and 5 rebounds in 14 mins in the first half. Anthony Davis has been quiet so far, shooting 1-3 with only 6 points and also added 5 rebounds in the middle of the second quarter.

In the 15 minutes of playing time for Damian Lillard, he has put up 19 points while shooting 4-6 from three and CJ McCollum has added 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Lakers G Danny Green has been struggling throughout his time in the bubble but today he has hit 2 threes of 4 shots taken while playing great team defense thus far.
We are watching a very interesting game throughout the first half with both teams being competitive on both sides of the ball and LeBron James is on another level right now putting up 22 points 6 rebounds and 3 assists while shooting 7-9 from the field, but also has already missed 5 free throws in the first half.

As the 3rd quarter began, I’ve always said that Lakers Coach Frank Vogel is one of the smartest coaches in the league because he know how to adjust game plans especially in the 2nd half of games. LeBron continued to play the same way he was in the first half by hitting a few shots and getting other involved and taking a 70-64 lead early in the 3rd quarter. Give major credit to the Lakers for playing great defense through the first 3 games. Carmelo Anthony has been playing well through the first few mins in the 3rd quarter putting up 11 this quarter and also credit KCP for hitting 3 threes in the 3rd quarter has it seems like he found his shooting touch since game 2.

Anthony Davis has woken in the 3rd quarter giving the Lakers the effort they needed with a total of 15 points and they have now take an 8 point lead with 2:50 remaining in the 3rd. Lakers G Alex Caruso has been playing magnificent on the defensive end giving Damian some trouble and hits a 3 late in the 3rd to give the Lakers an 11 point lead. When the Lakers hit they’re shots they are not an easy match up for other teams.
In the 4th quarter both teams have they’re starters on the court and we finally are seeing JR Smith playing his first couple of minutes here in game 3. Anthony Davis has picked up his play in this game thus far shooting 7-13 from the field with 19 points 8 rebounds and 7 assists as he is on the verge of getting a triple double. LeBron Currently 2 assists from another playoffs triple double with 31 points 10 rebounds and 8 assists as he take a quick breather with 7 mins remaining in the game. Davis with a 3 quick shots as James goes to the bench and Lakers take a 9 point lead. As time is ticking and the Lakers in control of this game, they continue to play tremendous defense throughout the game as there’s 3:06 remaining with a 7 point lead.

The Best duo in the NBA showed up to play in the 4th quarter as they took a 11 point lead late in the 4th behind LeBron’s 38 points and Anthony’s 29 points. The Lakers just played with heart and effort throughout the game and of course people wanna say that LeBron is washed up but guess what guys, he dominated this game and reminded everyone why he’s the best in the game right now.
As the Lakers take a 2-1 lead in the series, we now have to wait until Monday for Game 4 at 9ET/6PT on TNT.
