Playoff Paul George did not show up again, he’s more like Pandemic Paul George as the Clippers fall to Luka Doncic and the Mavs as they tie the series 2-2.
As Paul George started the game early by hitting a three, it seemed like he was going to have a good game to get out of the slump he’s in but that was not the case for the Dallas players guarding Paul George. They continue to play great team defense and Luka was magnificent once again as he finished the game with 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists as he ties the series against a tough team like the Clippers who have hope in winning a championship this year for the first time ever.
The Mavs had they’re largest playoff comeback win today overcoming a 21 point deficit while going on 16-0 run in the 3rd quarter and from that moment it just seemed like the Clippers had run out of gas. Marcus Morris played well but Lemon Pepper Lou showed up eating 36 wings (points) on the court in 34 mins. Montrezl Harrell struggled only putting up 2 points and 1 rebound which is not really like him.

Let’s not forget that the Mavs won this game with Kristaps Porzingis sitting out this game with right knee soreness and Luka led this team with a remarkable performance that we all will remember on Kobe Bryant’s Birthday. Luka Doncic was a game time decision after he tweak his ankle in Game 3 on Friday and was put in this game with the pressure of possibly going down 3-1 in this series to the Clippers but Luka had other plans.
In the 4th quarter while Luka took a quick break, he when over to the bench to get work on his ankle by the Mavs training staff and then got right back in the game to continue his greatness in Game 4. Clippers F Kawhi Leonard was great in this game doing what he usually does besides on the defensive end when Luka Doncic was driving by him and shooting over him throughout the game. Leonard finished the game with 32 points and 9 rebounds in 47 total minutes including overtime. Luka Doncic hits the game wining 3 pointer at the buzzer as they defeat the Clippers 135-133 in Overtime.

In the last 3 games for Paul George he is averaging 11.3 points per game while shooting 21% from the field and 16% from three, if that’s your second superstar on your team, you’re gonna have to look at other options if you really wanna win which is exactly was Indiana and Oklahoma City did by trading him away twice. Let’s not forget that he is very well known to be disappearing in the playoffs. Can Pandemic Paul turn into Playoff Paul? We will have to wait and see until Tuesday night 9ET/6PT on TNT.
