The Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles played a thrilling game Week 14 in which the Rams missed an opportunity to distance themselves from the Seattle Seahawks.
After a 43-35 loss to the Eagles, the Rams are still leading the NFC West at 9-4. However, with the Seahawks loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, L.A. had a chance to create some separation from Seattle in a tight division title race.
The Rams and Philadelphia played a great game for three quarters before exited with a knee injury and was replaced by . Once Wentz went down L.A. took an early 35-31 lead in the fourth quarter.
At home at Los Angeles Coliseum stadium, the stage was set for the Rams to pull away and take a strong hold over first place in the NFC West.
Instead the Eagles defense held strong for an entire quarter and didnt allow L.A. to score again.

Next week the Rams will face Seattle in a battle for first place. The Seahawks beat L.A. earlier in the season so if the Rams fall and they end Week 15 with an identical record of 9-5, Seattle will take hold of first place leading the season series between the teams 2-0.
If L.A. can beat the Seahawks and end Week 15 at10-4 while dropping Seattle to 8-6, then not only will they even the season series, theyll also all but guarantee themselves the NFC West title by forcing the Seahawks to win out just to have a chance.
The Rams have responded to adversity all year with a win. Lets see if they can regroup and respond to their missed opportunity against the Eagles when they face their division foe in Week 15.
Itll be a tough task but if they can pull it off theyll be in a good position entering the playoffs, and much better than anyone expected from them this season.
