The Los Angeles Rams were stopped by the Seattle Seahawks defense and their own mistakes in Week 5.

The Rams fell to the Seahawks 16-10 in Week 5 putting an end to their offensive dominance. Seattle’s stifling defense had a lot to do with slowing down  and L.A. but the Rams also made costly mistakes in the red zone that aided in their loss.

In four of their trips to the red zone, the Rams settled for a field goal, missed a field goal, fumbled and had an interception.

On the day Jared Goff threw for 288 yards but had zero touchdowns to show for it and two interceptions.

was also slowed down only rushing for 43 yards with no TDs against the Seahawks defense.

Coming into this game L.A. had the league’s highest-scoring offense and were at the top of the NFC West. After their Week 5 matchup with Seattle, they now drop to second place in the division and hold the NFL’s third-best offense.

Moving forward the Rams have a series of winnable games against teams struggling so far this season.

They’ll try to get their offense rolling again against the Jacksonville Jaguars Week 6 followed by games against the 2-3 Arizona Cardinals Week 7 and the 0-5 New York Giants in Week 9 after a Bye.
