Sam is a part-time freelance basketball scout who works closely with Baseline Sports, as well as the current writer and publisher of everything Sports Cred (with coverage from specifically the NBA and NFL only). Working previously as a beat writer for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and with reliable scouting experience with names such as NBA players TJ McConnell and Bam Adebayo, you will find few who know how to write and evaluate the game of basketball much better.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications in 2014 from Grand Canyon University, he has since established his own business at Link2Evolve, as well as his own creative niche in entrepreneurship.
Sam grew up in Minnesota and has forever been a fan of everything that the State Of Hockey has to offer. Kevin Garnett and Kirby Puckett were his idols growing up and being a die-hard Vikings fan has assisted in giving him an unwavering amount of patience.
Sports is not only part of his life, sports is his life. Having a history in education, teaching and coaching, Sam understands that the value of sports is much more than pure-entertainment. It is a microcosm of life itself. Not only does it bring us unbelievable joy and excitement, but it also sheds light onto competition and gives us lessons about how to become better men and women in this world of ours. It teaches us lessons, brings us closer together and gives us something to look up to.
In his spare time Sam enjoys spending time with his family in Pennslyvania, watching films and movies, attending various sporting events, playing cards, chess and a little fantasy football for a side income
