DEF/STs to start in Week 1:
Los Angeles Rams (vs. Colts): If were playing the Rams would likely not be on this list, but Luck-ily he’s not (see what I did there). is the starter and although is unlikely to play, L.A. still has a great defense now under Wade Phillips.
Atlanta Falcons (vs. Bears): The Falcons defense came on during the second half of the season last year. They face a Bears team that’s rolling out as their starter and their number one option at WR is Week 1 is looking good for the defending NFC Champions.
Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Browns): The Steelers secondary even after adding Joe Haden is still a huge question mark but the good thing for them is they face a rookie QB in Deshone Kizer. Kizer also has a lack of legitimate weapons so Pittsburgh will be a safe play.
DEF/STs to sit in Week 1:
Kansas City Chiefs (vs. Patriots): The Chiefs play the Patriots, enough said.
Seattle Seahawks (vs. Packers): Seahawks are a talented defense but Packers are a high scoring offense with leading the way. With that said, Week 1 might not be the best you’ll see from Seattle.
