Skyler’s the Limit: Week 13 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

November 29, 2017

We’re getting into playoff territory in Fantasy Football so all decisions going forward are even more important.

Most Fantasy Football leagues have their playoffs beginning next week but some leagues begin this week, and if you’re not beginning your playoffs then you are playing to try to get in. We’ll get right into my decisions for this week, which are based on PPR (points per reception) scoring so don’t @ me. Only @ me if you have a legitimate Fantasy question and you can find me on Twitter at the link on this article.

QBs to start in Week 13:

Derek Carr (vs. Giants): has been disappointing especially of late. Carr has scored just 15.8 points or less the last four weeks. Carr could score above that this week against a struggling New York Giants secondary that allows the 2nd most points to opposing QBs so look for Carr to bounce back this week.

Jared Goff (vs. Cardinals): has been one of the best Fantasy QBs this season. Goff has looked better and better every week. He has totaled 18.7 points in four of his last five games. Week 13 Goff faces the Arizona Cardinals who allow the 4th most points to QBs.

Under the Radar QBs:

Trevor Siemian (vs. Dolphins): is back to being the starting QB for the Denver Broncos. Because of injuries, Siemian is back under center for the Broncos where he almost led a 21-point comeback against the Oakland Raiders last week. This week he faces a weak Miami Dolphins defense that allows the 9th most points to QBs.

Mitch Trubisky (vs. 49ers): has been pretty bad since being named the starter for the Chicago Bears. Since Week 5, Trubisky as thrown just four touchdowns and has tossed four interceptions. If Trubisky is going to have an impressive week it will be Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers who allow the most points to QBs–but Do Not go out of your way to play Trubisky.

QBs to sit in Week 13:

Jacoby Brissett (vs. Jaguars): has been a solid Fantasy option this season. Brissett did have his worst game as a starter last week against the Tennessee Titans, however, where he had just 7.4 points. I don’t think it gets much better against the Jacksonville Jaguars who allow the least amount of points to QBs.

Matt Ryan (vs. Vikings): has looked better in recent weeks. Ryan has been less than impressive following his MVP season totaling anywhere from 8.5 to 18.4 points. The Minnesota Vikings defense has allowed just 23.8 points the last two weeks combined and they allow the 9th least amount of points to QBs.
