Fantasy playoff season is here so all of your fantasy decisions are essentially do or die.
Hopefully, everyone reading this made the playoffs in their fantasy leagues and if you didn’t, better luck next season. All decisions going forward are crucial to help you win your fantasy leagues. Hopefully, I can help with my picks for this week. Let’s get right into who I like this week. I will not be doing the under the radar guys this week but instead will add an extra guy to start because in playoffs you should take less chances on “under the radar guys”. My decisions are based on PPR (points per reception) scoring so don’t @ me. If you do @ me though feel free to ask my questions on anything fantasy related.
QBs to start in Week 14:
Dak Prescott (vs. Giants): Dak Prescott has struggled recently. In the last 4 games, Prescott has failed to throw more than 200+ yards and has totaled 30.1 points in those 4 weeks. That is awful but he could bounce back against a Giants team that is essentially giving up this season. The Giants have allowed the 4th most points to QBs this season and have allowed the 2nd most TDS to QBs.
Derek Carr (vs. Chiefs): Derek Carr has been disappointing this season. Carr has disappointed more so cause of injuries more than talent. Carr could see himself have a huge week against the Chiefs who he scored 30.2 points on in their matchup in Week 7. Chiefs allow the 5th most points to QBs and Marcus Peters is also suspended for this week’s game.
Marcus Mariota (vs. Cardinals): Marcus Mariota has also disappointed a bit this season. Mariota has failed to throw for more than 200 yards the last two weeks but did have 18.3 points last week against the Texans. This week he faces a Cardinals defense that allows the 6th most points to QBs and have allowed five rushing touchdowns to QBs which is the most in the NFL.
QBs to sit in Week 14:
Kirk Cousins (vs. Chargers): Kirk Cousins looked awful last week against the Cowboys. It doesn’t get any easier for Cousins this week as he faces the Chargers. Cousins has totaled just 28.7 points the last four weeks with four giveaways as well. The Chargers allow the 4th least amount of points to QBs.
Cam Newton (vs. Vikings): It’s crazy to think that Cam Newton could be on this list. I’m not saying to absolutely bench Newton but I’d look elsewhere if possible this week. Newton is the 5th top scoring QB in fantasy this season but has a tough matchup against the Vikings elite defense this week. The Vikings allow the 6th least amount of points to QBs and have allowed just 56 yards rushing yards to QBs all season…. ALL SEASON.
