WRs to start in Week 2:
Brandin Cooks (vs. Saints): I liked last week against the Chiefs, this week I absolutely love him against his former team, the Saints. Cooks finished with just 3 receptions for 88 yards in Week 1 but I think it will be a big week from and company. I believe Patriots get Cooks the ball early and often especially with being hurt.
Larry Fitzgerald (vs. Colts): at 34 years old is still the best wide receiver on the Cardinals roster. Fitzgerald had a solid 13.4 points in Week 1 against the Lions. This week he faces a Colts defense that allowed the Rams to throw the ball with ease so I expect another solid performance from Fitzgerald especially if is unable to suit up.
Tyreek Hill (vs. Eagles): is the best weapon the Chiefs have on offense. Hill should be able to find ways to get the ball especially against a secondary like the Eagles who just lost for the majority of the season. If Alex Smith is able to push the ball downfield again it makes a guy like Hill that more dangerous.
Under the Radar WRs:
Allen Hurns (vs. Titans): With the injury to someone has to step up as the main receiving threat for , and that guy will likely be . Hurns is a uy that’s had an 1,000 yard season just a couple years ago. He should see a good volume of targets against a weaker Titans secondary.
Jeremy Maclin (vs. Browns): seemed to have nice chemistry with his new teammate . Maclin finished with 13.6 points in Week 1 against the Bengals. This week he faces a Browns secondary that allowed the 9th most points to WRs last week.
WRs to sit in Week 2:
Rishard Matthews (vs. Jaguars): seems to be the number one WR on the Titans for the time being. That can be subject to change depending on how rookie performs. Matthews also faces a tough Jaguars defense that allowed just 7 receptions for 55 yards, and a touchdown in Week 1.
Corey Coleman (vs. Ravens): had a nice Week 1 where he saw himself score 16.3 points against the Steelers. Coleman seems to be Deshone Kizer’s go-to guy for the time being so that helps him going forward. I would avoid Coleman though for this week as he squares off against the Ravens who allowed the 9th least amount of points to WRs in Week 1.
