RBs to start in Week 7:
Adrian Peterson (vs. Rams): looked like the old AP that we remember from a few years ago last week. Peterson was recently traded to the Arizona Cardinals after playing the first 5 weeks in New Orleans. Peterson looked rejuvenated totaling 134 yards on 26 carries and 2 touchdowns to give him 25.4 Fantasy points. This week he faces a Los Angeles Rams defense that allows the most points to opposing RBs.
Tevin Coleman (vs. Patriots): has consistently been a part of the offense despite being the backup RB. Coleman has been pretty consistent so far scoring at least 9.8 points every week this season especially because of his ability to catch the ball. This week should be a nice week for Coleman as he faces a New England Patriots team that allows the most receiving yards and receiving touchdowns to opposing RBs.
Under the Radar RBs:
Marlon Mack (vs. Jaguars): is an explosive running back that the Colts should look to use more. Mack had his best week in Week 5 when he had 9 rushes for 91 yards and a touchdown. In Week 6 the Colts for some odd reason gave him just 2 carries for 18 yards. Look for Colts to get him involved again against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that allows the 8th most points to RBs.
Joe Mixon (vs. Steelers): seems to be getting more of the workload and is now the most featured back in the Cincinnati Bengals offense. Mixon is a very talented back that has gotten 57 touches in the last three weeks. Look for Mixon to be heavily involved in their offense again Sunday with a lack of weapons against the Steelers who allow the 6th most points to RBs.
RBs to sit in Week 7:
Doug Martin (vs. Bills): has been pretty solid since coming back from suspension two weeks ago. In the two games Martin has played he’s totaled 30.6 points. I see a less than impressive performance from Martin this week especially if Winston is out with injury. It also doesn’t help that the Bills allow the 4th least amount of points to RBs.
Bilal Powell (vs. Dolphins): is going to be one of the most inconsistent RBs in Fantasy. There’s a muddied backfield for the New York Jets where they have three guys they get the ball to. Powell had his best week (will probably end as his best week this season) in Week 4 when he had 29 points against the Jaguars. The Miami Dolphins aren’t good at much but they do allow the 5th least amount of points to RBs.
