Skyler’s the Limit: Week 9 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

November 1, 2017

WRs to start in Week 9:

Tyreek Hill (vs. Cowboys): is one of the best big-play WRs in the NFL. Hill came away with just 3.8 points against the Denver Broncos’ defense last week. Oddly enough on odd numbered weeks Hill has had 16+ points, and on even numbered weeks he’s had 8.9 or fewer points. It’s Week 9 so he could have a huge week especially against the Dallas Cowboys who allow the 5th most points to WRs.

Will Fuller (vs. Colts): It’s hard to keep thinking can keep up his crazy touchdown streak but he has. Fuller missed the first three games of the season but has still somehow managed to get 7 touchdown receptions in just 13 catches. Fuller will likely continue his streak against the Colts who give up the 6th most points to WRs.

Under the Radar WRs:

Ted Ginn Jr. (vs. Buccaneers): has always been a big-play threat in his career. Although he drops a bunch of passes he can still have one of those 50-yard touchdowns any given week. Ginn could see one of those this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who allow the most points to WRs.

T.Y Hilton (vs. Texans): It’s crazy to see a guy like on this list at this point in the season. After having seven catches for an 177-yard performance in Week 5, he’s had just 5 receptions for 61 yards. That’s brutal.

Hilton could have a bounce-back week amid trade rumors he had and the fact he plays the Texans who allow the 9th most points to WRs.

WRs to sit in Week 9:

Allen Hurns (vs. Bengals): is still the number one WR on the Jaguars’ offense. It’s hard to like any WR for the Jaguars this season especially with being under center. Hurns faces a stingy Bengals defense that allows the 5th least points to WRs and have allowed just 54 receptions all year which is best in the NFL.

Sterling Shepard (vs. Rams): finds himself as the number one WR in the Giants offense. It’s hard to trust any WR on the Giants. Shepard is talented but faces a Los Angeles Rams defense that allows the 7th least amount of points to WRs this season. There are better options at WR than Shepard Week 9.
