Today at the Los Angeles Drew League Summer Pro-Am, team Blacc Pearl Elite is up against the 2022 reigning champs Home Town Favorites at King Drew Magnet H.S. Tip off at 1:30p
Would I consider this a rivalry? Yes!
Over the last 2 summers both teams have, in some way, been involved the outcome of each others destiny in the playoffs. In 2021, due to a loss at the end of the season by HTF, BPE was able to get the 4th seed in the playoffs and made run to the Semi Finals. Last year in 2022, BPE lost to HTF in the championship game.
Rivalry: Competition for the same objective or for superiority in the same field. So #BPE vs HTF is definitely a RIVALRY!
