T.J Warren’s Pacers take down the Lakers 116-111

The Lakers come into this game struggling shooting the ball for the past few games and guess what? They came out shooting as bad as Ben Simmons’s jump shot. Not sure what the problem might be with the Lakers but I did have a conversation with a source and did mentioned to me that there is Drama in the bubble. He did mentioned exactly what the main problem was and it was due to certain players on the team not being safe and being a big distraction. Soon more details will be release on this situation in the bubble.

T.J warren has been the talk of the league for the last two weeks, coming out on fire shooting 7-11 from the field and scoring 18 points in the first quarter. Spent his first five years of his career with Phoenix and I bet they feel like how they’re fans have been feeling about the management of the organization, awful. Lakers F LeBron James came out shooting the ball after taking a night off on Thursday due to a sore groin. He shot 6-7 from the field and scoring 12 points in 12 mins.

Lakers in the 2nd quarter were a little more aggressive than the first quarter with multiple steals and buckets coming from Talen Horton-Tucker. After Thursday game head coach Frank Vogel mentioned that Talen is looking sharp and possibly going to be earning himself a spot in the rotation, which at age 19, playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis is going to be a dream come true for the young man out of Iowa State.

Scary moment in the middle of the 2nd quarter after a steal by Quinn Cook that led to a fast break from KCP who when up for a lay up and came down hard after getting fouled. He has been the only player this year who has played all 69 games played by the Lakers, KCP ended up being okay after getting knocked down hard by the opposing player. Lakers shot 7-18 from three in the first half which is very impressive since they arrived in the bubble.

Starting the 3rd with the Lakers up by 3 and LeBron James looking like he will be having a high scoring game and taking no chance in the Lakers loosing this game. He has 19 points on 9-13 shots and seems like everyone is getting out the shooting slump.  The game kept going back and forth leading up to the 4th quarter. Interesting thing so far has been the decision by Lakers Coach Frank Vogel not playing J.R Smith and Dion Waiters in the game. LeBron has been in control through the game for the Lakers on 26 points and 7 mins remaining in the 4th. At the same time T.J Warren has been playing very well so far with 29 points through the 4th. His little run he’s been having reminds me about “Linsanity” with Jeremy Lin when he played for the New York Knicks.

Anthony Davis has been struggling bad in this game only shooting 2-11 with 6 points and 7 rebounds and finishing the game with only 8 points. Lakers G Quinn Cook is having his best game so far in the bubble making 5-7 in three’s with 21 points but has lots to do with Smith and Waiters not playing any minutes. Dwight Howard has been playing great with 10 points and 12 rebounds and big defensive play late in the 4th. With a minute and a half Lakers were trailing by 2 and LeBron shot a fade away air ball which allowed Anthony Davis to get the offensive rebound and score on the air ball. Play right after T.J Warren came back the other way and had a nice no call offensive foul that was not called and scored on that possession. Lakers Coach Frank Vogel gets upset with the no call. Seconds later T.J Warren shot a dagger 3 to put them up 114-108 with 9.9 seconds remaining in the game. T.J Warren is unbelievable!

LeBron comes out from the time out and hits a quick 3 from the corner and cuts the lead down 114-111 with 7.5 seconds left. Pacers win the 116-111 behind T.J Warren’s 39 points. Big game for the kid and Lakers now have to continue moving forward as they already clinched the #1 Seed in the Western Conference.

Lakers face the Denver Nuggets Monday night 9ET/6PT on TNT.
