The Los Angeles Clippers are one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in Clippers history since entering the league 50 years ago. Will the curse ever be broken? Not this year says the Denver Nuggets!
The pressure that has been on the Clippers for 50 years might finally come to an end here after Game 5. The Nuggets have been in the Western Conference Finals before so they don’t have that type of pressure like an organization like the Clippers. When Kawhi Leonard got to the Clippers this past summer, he admitted to the history that the Clippers have and looking forward to creating history as he is now chasing his 3rd ring with 3 different teams.

During the first half the Clippers had the largest lead of the game 16 as the Nuggets have continued to get back in this game behind they’re young stars. The Clippers have been playing the same way they have been throughout this series with Kawhi Leonard leading his team to a competitive first half.
Clippers F Paul George has been Normal P not like Pandemic P but he still hasn’t really found his mojo in these playoffs only averaging 20 points per game as he can do much better which is what the Clippers expect from him. Marcus Morris has been another player who has been a great pick this season during the trade deadline coming from the New York Knicks as he been a key player for the Clippers during the playoffs.
Nuggets shock the Clippers to force Game 6 😱

During the 2nd half the Clippers decided not play any defense as they allowed the Nuggets to climb back into this game and put the pressure back on the Clippers. Nuggets F Paul Millsap began the little run late in the 3rd quarter to get his team back in it. Coming into the 4th quarter the Nuggets continued having they’re foot on the pedal as they come from behind to take the lead in the middle of the 4th quarter as Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic both step up big with they’re backs against the wall and the Clippers go flat. Kawhi couldn’t hit shots, Paul George was turning the ball over and Lou Williams left the bubble to get more lemon pepper wings.
As I watch the Clippers crumble late in the 4th quarter with the pressure of never making it to the Western Conference Finals is really getting to they’re head.
