The Los Angeles Rams continue to play well but Week 10 against the Houston Texans it was their defense that led the charge.

Going up against a Texans team without rookie phenom  was likely going to result in a win for the Rams. However, the first half of the game was no walk in the park for L.A.

At halftime the Rams were only up on Houston by two, 9-7.

Every point L.A. scored was hard fought as their offense just couldn’t get going thanks to the Texans effort on defense and the presence of .

By the second half the Rams’ offense figured things out and got rolling but if it wasn’t for their stout defense they may have headed into the third quarter trailing.

Two of L.A.’s four defensive takeaways came in the first half of the game. Then once Head Coach Sean McVay’s offense turned it on, Houston had no chance.

The Rams beat the Texans 33-7 in a rout to move to 7-2 on the season and remain a game ahead of the Seattle Seahawks for first place in the NFC West.
