The South Bay Lakers are gearing up for their season and just acquired a first-round pick.
A team press release announced Monday, October 9, the SB Lakers acquired a first-round pick in the 2018 G League Draft as well as a 2017 fourth rounder from the Maine Red Claws.
The deal was made in exchange for the Lakers 24th pick in this year’s draft.
By adding a fourth-round pick South Bay now has four picks in the 2017 draft, which includes a No. 10, 22 and 50 pick.
The G League Draft begins Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m. PST.
