Saturday was the G League draft and it was a productive one for the South Bay Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, succeeded in securing five players in this years draft.
With the 10th and 22nd picks in Round 1, the SB Lakers selected from Iona and Ian Baker from New Mexico State.

In Round 2 with the 13th pick they drafted Jerome Frink from LIU Brooklyn then grabbed Michael Lyons with the 24th pick.
Finally in the fourth round, they drafted Michael Heyer from Boise State with the 20th pick.
Now that the draft is over South Bay has finalized their 16-man roster, which includes their new draftees, Drew Leagues and headliners and on two-way contracts with the L.A. Lakers.
The SB Lakers training camp starts Tuesday, October 24 and their first preseason game is on Sunday, October 29.
