The Fredo Report

What’s on LaMelo Ball’s mind?

November 26, 2019

We all know that LaMelo Ball is going to be a great player in the NBA but how great can he really be? Future Hall of Famer? LaMelo says that’s the only thing on his mind.

Ball is currently avg 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists as an 18 year old in his first year in the NBL, that’s spectacular. We have to understand that he is playing with professional basketball players and he’s proving to everyone around the world that he is the best player available in the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft. The skill set that he brings is like no other player in this upcoming draft. He’s got next!

As Ball prepares for the upcoming draft in June 2020, there’s only one guy training with him and making sure he does all the right things to make it to the NBA and that man is Jermaine Jackson. As I reported a few months months ago about Jackson’s relationship with LaMelo, they both are currently living in Australia and are staying focused on the goal.

LaMelo Ball is waking up everyday at 3 in the morning training in the gym, running on the beach and eating the right things to prepare his body and his mind. The only thing on his mind right now is becoming a Hall of Famer. There is no other player on his level with the same mindset. This shows you a lot about this 18 year old’s mentality and how mature he is.

When I asked if it matters if he goes 1st overall or 3rd overall, main concern is he just wants to win. Ball was born a winner and that’s the only thing he cares about; winning. A team that really knows how to win is the Golden State Warriors, after going through injuries they currently stand at 3-14. This team will be different next season, not only because Curry and Thompson are both coming back from injuries, but because they might be landing a top draft pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Warriors GM Bob Myers is traveling to Australia to scout LaMelo Ball to see for himself. Former Lakers GM and now current GM for the Hornets Mitch Kupchak is also in Australia to watch greatness in the making. The buzz is in the NBL this year as LaMelo is out there breaking all types of records.

LaMelo just got the youngest triple double in NBL history,  NBL attendance record for games and the most views for a game in NBL History.  He’s just that incredible.

LaMelo Ball will take the NBA by storm next season, I guarantee you. If you add LaMelo to any NBA team, they will automatically be a Playoff team. Now, if you put him in a team with another all star and maybe a couple of NBA veterans, you now got a chance to win. He’s that great of a basketball player.
