Football is back and as always there are some major winners and losers after one week of action.
There was a lot bad quarterback play that begs the question, again, why Colin Kaepernick isn’t on an NFL roster. But of course, that’s another topic for a different day.
There was, however, some excitement and surprises as well as some major let downs.

Marshawn Lynch’s return to football proved he still has some “Beast Mode” left in him as he ran over the competition for the Oakland Raiders.
The New Orleans Saints failed to utilize a future hall-of-fame running back to their advantage in an uninspired loss.
And a team with Super Bowl aspirations, the New York Giants, proved to be ill equipped without their best player.
After all the applause-worthy plays and head scratchers, let’s review some major winners and losers from NFL Week 1.
