WINNERS
Russell Wilson
is one of the NFLs premier quarterbacks. His Seahawks got off to a bit of a slow start to begin the season but after a thrilling 41-38 victory over the Texans in Week 8, they find themselves at the top of their division at 5-2.
Week 8 Wilson threw for 452 yards, four TDs and one interception. Down 38-34 and with 1:39 left in the game, the Super Bowl winning QB led an 80-yard drive that ended in an 18-yard touchdown to put Seattle up 41-38 with only 21 seconds left in regulation.
A series before Wilson had thrown an interception and it looked like the Seahawks were done. But Houston couldnt move the chains enough to run out the clock. They left enough time for Wilson to do Wilson things and orchestrate another come from behind win.

Deshaun Watson
and his Texans may have lost the game against Seattle Week 8, but Watson won over America. The rookie QB continues to impress and play beyond his years.
Watson threw for 402 yards and four TDs against the Seahawks defense, and although he had three interceptions, one of them came at the tail end of the game when Houston was in desperation mode trailing 41-38 with 7 seconds left.
In Watsons Week 8 performance he became the first rookie to throw at least three touchdowns in four consecutive games. He also has 19 TDs on the season, the most by any rookie ever in a seven-game span.
Its safe to say Houston has the exact opposite of a problem, they have an answer. Deshaun Watson is poised to be the NFLs next star quarterback.
Jimmy Garoppolo
It was announced Monday night that was to be traded from the New England Patriots to the San Francisco 49ers. Garoppolo was the Patriots backup QB who was set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Reports claim that New England hoped to keep Garoppolo but a deal couldnt be done. Instead of watching him walk, they traded him to the Niners for a 2018 second-round draft pick.
Now that Garoppolo will be out of s shadow he can show what he’s made of because hell actually get to play.
Congratulations are in order to the young QB who finally gets his time to shine.
San Francisco 49ers
The Niners lost again in Week 8 and are now 0-8 on the season but they just acquired a potential franchise QB from the Patriots.
San Francisco and New England worked out a deal that sent their backup quarterback to play for the 49er Faithful.
In two starts last season Garoppolo was 42-for-59 on passes and threw four TDs and no INTs in Tom Bradys deflategate absence.
Garoppolo has just a small sample size as a starting QB but that sample size is better than any the Niners have gotten so far from their QBs.
