Skyler’s the Limit: Week 7 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

October 20, 2017

WRs to start in Week 7:

Terrelle Pryor (vs. Eagles): has been disappointing to start this season. Pryor came in expecting to be the clear cut number one WR but that hasn’t been the case. Pryor has struggled early catching more than three passes just once all year and that was in Week 1. Look for Pryor to get on track against the Philadelphia Eagles who allow the 2nd most points to WRs.

Michael Crabtree (vs. Chiefs): has been the best WR for the Raiders this season. It’s about time to say I’d rather have Crabtree than this season with how bad Cooper is struggling so far. Crabtree has scored a touchdown in three out of the five games he’s played in (missed Week 4 with injury). Crabtree could get into the endzone again as he plays the Kansas City Chiefs who allow the 3rd most points to opposing WRs.

Under the Radar WRs:

Robert Woods (vs. Cardinals): has yet to score a touchdown this season but this could be the week he does. Woods has 5+ catches in three out of the six games this season. Woods should see a nice week this week against a Cardinals team that allows the 5th most points to WRs.

Bennie Fowler (vs. Chargers): should be in line for a few more opportunities with being injured. Fowler should get more targets stepping into the 2nd WR spot for the Denver Broncos this week. Fowler has two touchdowns on the year but they oddly both came in Week 1 against who they play this week, the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers allow the 7th most points to WRs.

WRs to sit in Week 7:

Tyrell Williams (vs. Broncos): is going to have a hard time getting targets in this offense. Williams has struggled the past two weeks totaling 4 receptions for 49 yards. Look for those woes to continue against a tough Broncos defense that allows the 5th least points to WRs.

DeSean Jackson (vs. Bills): seems very TD dependent on the Bucs. Jackson has more than three catches in a game just twice out of the five games he’s played in so far. If Winston can’t play Jackson is also unplayable; especially when you add the fact the stingy Bills defense allows the 10th least amount of points to WRs.
