Skyler’s the Limit Week 8: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

October 26, 2017

WRs to start in Week 8:

Kelvin Benjamin (vs. Buccaneers): looks to be getting back to his dominant form. Benjamin struggled early on in the season and also dealt with an injury. He’s averaged 14.7 points the past four weeks and that success should continue against the Buccaneers who allow the most points to WRs.

Demaryius Thomas (vs. Chiefs): has played pretty well for the most part this season. Thomas has scored 11+ points in four out of the six games he’s been in. This week he should add to that against the Chiefs who allow the 2nd most points to WRs.

Under the Radar WRs:

Nelson Agholor (vs. 49ers): has seemingly become the deep threat weapon for the Eagles. Agholor is coming off a terrible season last year where he had a plethora of drops and bad plays. This year he looks like a new WR where the Eagles trust him as an important part of their offense. Look for a nice week for Agholor against a terrible 49ers defense that gives up the 10th most points to WRs.

Jamison Crowder (vs. Cowboys): has been disappointing so far this year. Crowder has seen an uptick in targets the last two weeks, as he’s had 11, but has only 5 catches. Crowder could get out of his slump this week against the Dallas Cowboys who allow the 6th most points to WRs.

WRs to sit in Week 8:

Will Fuller (vs. Seahawks): has had a very unorthodox start to the season. Fuller has just eight receptions on the season but five of those have come in the touchdown variety. I think his touchdown success halters this week against a tough Seattle Seahawks defense that allows the 6th least amount of points to WRs.

Devante Parker (vs. Ravens): is questionable to play this week. Parker has missed the last two games because of a lingering ankle injury. Parker and the Miami Dolphins play Thursday night so his availability is up in the air. Whether he plays or not, I don’t like his matchup against the Ravens who allow the 2nd least amount of points to WRs.
