Skyler’s the Limit: Week 9 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

November 1, 2017

RBs to start in Week 9:

Lamar Miller (vs. Colts): is a very nice option this week. Miller has seen at least 15+ touches every week this season so that is very promising. Miller has struggled to reach the end zone a bit with just two rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns this season. Miller will likely score at least once this week against the Colts who allow the 3rd most points to RBs. He’ll fire up all of the Houston Texans’ offense this week.

Christian McCaffrey (vs. Falcons): should see an increased amount of touches now that Kelvin Benjamin was traded. McCaffrey has had 5+ receptions in six out of the eight games he’s played in, so he’s a vital part of the Carolina Panthers’ offense. This week he faces an Atlanta Falcons defense that allows the 6th most points to RBs and have allowed 48 receptions to opposing RBs which is the 4th most in the NFL.

Under the Radar RBs:

Kenyan Drake (vs. Raiders): With the departure of Jay Ajayi, will likely step into the starting role for the Dolphins. It’s hard to fully trust a Miami RB right now but you may need a fill-in guy for a bye week, or if you’re an owner. Also, beware of the fact that could take touches away from him.

Drake could still be somewhat Fantasy relevant against the Oakland Raiders who allow the 9th most points to RBs.

Ameer Abdullah (vs. Packers): has been hot and cold all season. Abdullah has struggled the past few weeks to get more than 6.8 points in any games. Abdullah should see a nice week this week against a Green Bay Packers defense that is giving up the 5th most points to RBs.

RBs to sit in Week 9:

Chris Thompson (vs. Seahawks): has been a nice PPR option all season. Thompson relies heavily on getting his points through the air and he’s made it work through eight weeks so far this season getting 15+ points in every game but one. I think Thompson will have a week with under 15 points against the Seattle Seahawks who allow the 5th least amount of points to RBs and also have allowed just 28 receptions to RBs which is best in the NFL.

C.J Anderson (vs. Eagles): is a hard RB to trust nowadays. Anderson had the majority of touches against the Kansas City Chiefs last week but he shares touches with and . Booker was the lone recipient of the touchdown between the three RBs last week, and Anderson faces an Eagles defense that allows the 6th least amount of points to RBs.
