WRs to start in Week 5:
Devante Parker (vs. Titans): Devante Parker has been one of the few bright spots in the sluggish Dolphins offense. Parker is mainly their big-play guy and with Dolphins likely to trail in this game he’ll get plenty of looks. Parker and the Dolphins face off against the Titans who allow the most points to WRs.
Randall Cobb (vs. Cowboys): Randall Cobb is a nice option at WR this week. Aaron Rodgers should be able to easily dissect this Cowboys defense and Cobb should be a beneficiary of that. Cobb had his first touchdown of the season last week and I see him scoring again against a Cowboys defense that gives up the 7th most points to WRs.
T.Y Hilton (vs. 49ers): I like Jacoby Brissett this week and I also like his favorite WR, T.Y Hilton. Hilton had a nice week in Week 3 where he had 28.3 fantasy points but came back to earth scoring just 6 against a tough Seattle secondary. This week he could have another huge week against a terrible 49ers defense that allows the 5th most points to WRs.
Under the Radar WRs:
Torrey Smith (vs. Cardinals): Torrey Smith could be a nice option this week. Cardinals will likely have Patrick Peterson on Alshon Jeffery so Smith could be the main guy for Wentz to target. Although the Cardinals seemingly have a nice secondary they’ve given up the 6th most points to WRs.
J.J Nelson (vs. Eagles): On the flip side I like J.J Nelson as a possible option at flex in deeper leagues. Nelson started off the season nice scoring in the first two weeks but since then he was out in Week 3 with injury and had just 3 catches for 34 yards in Week 4. Nelson could get back on track this week against the Eagles who allow the 2nd most points to WRs.
WRs to sit in Week 5:
Allen Hurns (vs. Steelers): Allen Hurns is now the main WR option for Bortles. Hurns had the most targets for Jaguars WRs last week with 10 but finished with just 4 receptions for 42 yards. This week he goes up against the Steelers who are allowing the 2nd least amount of points to WRs.
Amari Cooper (vs. Ravens): It might be a good time to try finding other options for Amari Cooper currently. Cooper has struggled to begin this season, to say the least. In the last two weeks, he’s had just 3 receptions for 15 yards. That’s brutal, plus he has 7 drops this season and if you add that with the fact he is without Derek Carr for a few weeks it doesn’t bode well for Cooper. Ravens also give up the 4th fewest points to WRs.
